Jenny Kleeman

journalist, writer, documentary-maker

Jenny Kleeman is an award-winning journalist who tells thought-provoking stories you won’t have heard from anyone else.

She’s travelled some of the toughest parts of the world finding unusual characters and challenging subjects to turn into film and print.

A regular face on Unreported World, Channel 4’s critically acclaimed foreign affairs documentary strand, Jenny has reported from the depths of the Amazon rainforest to the streets of Liberia’s slums, via Afghanistan, Cambodia, Nigeria and Honduras. She's presented Dispatches for Channel 4 and Explore for BBC Two, and reported for BBC One's The One Show.

Jenny writes regular features for the Guardian, as well as the Sunday Times, the Times, the Independent, Broadcast, Monocle and VICE magazine.

When she’s at home, Jenny’s often found reviewing the newspapers on Sky News and the BBC News Channel.

“Jenny Kleeman gets thoroughly involved as usual - marching bravely into places, spending the night with a family in a precarious shanty town, doing proper journalism ... I wonder if Kleeman ever goes on a spa break, or a beach holiday. I hope so.”
