journalist, writer, documentary-maker
Jenny Kleeman is an award-winning journalist who tells thought-provoking stories you won’t have heard from anyone else.
She’s travelled some of the toughest parts of the world finding unusual characters and original subjects to turn into film and print.
As a regular face on Unreported World, Channel 4’s critically acclaimed foreign affairs documentary strand, Jenny has reported from across the globe, from the depths of the Amazon rainforest to the film sets of Afghanistan's movie industry, via Liberia, Cambodia, Nigeria and Honduras.
At home, she's reported for BBC One's The One Show and Channel 4's Dispatches, and reviews the newspapers on Sky News and the BBC News Channel.
Jenny's features appear regularly in the Guardian's Weekend magazine, as well as the Sunday Times, the Times, the New Statesman, the Independent and VICE.
“Jenny Kleeman gets thoroughly involved as usual - marching bravely into places, spending the night with a family in a precarious shanty town, doing proper journalism ... I wonder if Kleeman ever goes on a spa break, or a beach holiday. I hope so.”
