Jenny is a multi-award winning journalist who tells stories in print and audio. She won the 2025 Orwell Prize for Journalism.
She’s the author of The Price of Life, and Sex Robots & Vegan Meat, which has been translated into eleven languages.
Jenny writes long form features for the Guardian, and has also written for the FT Weekend Magazine and the Sunday Times Magazine.
A regular voice on BBC Radio 4, Jenny is the creator and presenter of the BBC podcast series The Gift, now in its third series, and the six-part series Ransom Man.
She began her career in television, reporting for BBC One's Panorama, HBO's Vice News Tonight and Channel 4's Dispatches, and presenting 13 films from across the globe for Channel 4’s Unreported World.
In 2025, Jenny won the Foreign Press Association Award for Print Story of the Year, was highly commended at the British Press Awards, and was a finalist for Best Radio Presenter in the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards. Ransom Man is shortlisted in the forthcoming British Podcast Awards 2026.
